Some Home Buyers have actually become hesitant to buy a home because of mixed signals from their employers. Will they be able to work from home or will they need to work from home?
How much space will be needed in their new home for a home office? Changing policies from employers are creating some hesitancy. Personally, I think that the “work from home” option will be here to stay for a lot of jobs simply because it is cheaper for the employer to not pay for as much office space. However, I don’t have a crystal ball and even if I did, I wouldn’t place my bet on what I see in it.
As a real estate agent, both options are available to me. Personally, I mostly work from home or my vehicle and have for the last nearly 20 years in the business.
Despite all of this, home sales have continued to be strong and inventory continues to be in short supply throughout the region.
